15. Your thoughts cause your feelings

16. We don't need to complicate all the "reasons" behind our emotions. It's much simpler than that. Two categories .. good feelings, bad feelings.

17. Thoughts that bring about good feelings mean you are on the right track. Thoughts that bring about bad feelings means you are not on the right track.

18. Whatever it is you are feeling is a perfect reflection of what is in the process of becoming

19. You get exactly what you are FEELING

20. Happy feelings will attract more happy circumstances

21. You can begin feeling whatever you want (even if it's not there).. the universe will correspond to the nature of your song

22. What you focus on with your thought and feeling is what you attract into your experience

23. What you think and what you feel and what actually manifests is ALWAYS a match - no exception

24. Shift your awareness

27. You can change your emotion immediately .. by thinking of something joyful, or singing a song, or remembering a happy experience

80. You will free yourself from the cumbersome impossibilities of needing to control the world, your friends, your mate, your children....

81. You are the only one that creates your reality

82. No one else can think or feel for you .. its YOU .. ONLY YOU.

83. Health: thank the universe for your own healing. Laugh, stress free happiness will keep you healthy.

84. Immune system will heal itself

85. Parts of our bodies are replace every day, every week..etc... Within a few years we have a brand new body

86. See yourself living in a new body. Hopeful = recovery. Happy = happier biochemistry. Stress degrades the bod.

88. Learn to become still .. and take your attention away from what you don't want, and place your attention on what you wish to experience

90. You are not here to try to get the world to be just as you want it. You are here to create the world around you that you choose.

91. And allow the world as others choose to see it, exist as well

92. People think that if everyone knows the power of the LOA there won't be enough to go around .. This is a lie that's been ingrained in us and makes so many greedy.

93. The truth is there is more than enough love, creative ideas, power, joy, happiness to go around.

94. All of this abundance begins to shine through a mind that is aware of it's own infinite nature. There's enough for everyone. See it. Believe it. it will show up for you.

96. Write your script. When you see things you don't want, don't think about them, write about them, talk about them, push against them, or join groups that focus on the don't wants... remove your attention from don't wants.. and place them on do wants

99. One energy field. Our bodies have distracted us from our energy. We are the infinite field of unfolding possibilities. The creative force.

Rare movies have been found in a New Zealand archive. Amoung them Clara Bow and John Ford. Nice find. Lest hope funds for preservation can be found. Another John Ford silent discovered. I hope there are other important movies found there.

AFRICAN QUEEN SET FOR DVD IN MARCH.

John Huston's 1951 masterpiece is going to be released to DVD on March 23 2010. For anyone who is either a John Huston, Kate Hepburn, or a fan of the great Humphrey Bogart, this is a major release [and yes its not a Warner Brothers release LOL]. I plan to just get a regular vanilla edition of the film. I'm planning on screening this with beer and burgers [or sandwiches] and watch this masterpiece for the first time in years. :) African Queen DVD.

I found on Google's blog the numbers I was looking for. How many unique web pages it has indexed. There are over one trillion with a t. You read that right!! Wow!!! Finding to find anything useful has been Google's [and some others less successfully] mission from the start. They get good marks but they still have a long journey ahead of them to truly make the web the tool I think it can be.

The goal still is to be able to find just what you are looking for when you want it and to have the web help you by crawling and delivering sites automatically even without you going and searching for them at all. Think of it as a your own personal online research assistant. Don't laugh because it may be just around the corner. Story is located here.

This is what was posted at Slashdot. The story is so funny that I just have to post my reaction. The media is always trying to blame society's problems on the internet. Give it a rest would you please! Just because people are not glued to the idiot box AKA Television like they used to does not mean you have to go on the attack against the net.

I'll let a Slashdot poster say it for you and I in such simple terms even a journalist [LOL] could understand it: "How about: Awareness of the world makes people more depressed."

My plan for election night:

My election night begins with news gathering etc online at 3 PM. 6 PM its TV news and online monitoring. 8:00 PM Eastern - IT GETS BUSY with me being online and watching tv from 2 different rooms. TV will be loud so I can hear something and run in and watch itf I want. I only have a desktop and a big tv so I cannot combine into one room.

At least 5 different TABS in Firefox browser for electoral maps, vote numbers, DU discussion, poll closing times, Google, + my own blog I'll be posting to, and anything else I find.

Another Firefox browser will be open with Board Of Elections / Sec Of State web sites for at least 7 battleground states for the latest returns.

I'm going to be busy for hours and hours. LOL.

Black voter turnout is expected to be 35% this year in Ga. Normally its around 23%. This could boost Obama's chances in the Peach state on election night. I've been seeing massive lines of African American voters on the newscasts here in Georgia. That bodes well for Obama on November 4th.

I have the Alien Quadrilogy on DVD. I purchased it a few months ago. I'm going to be listening to the commentary tracks for at least the first two Alien films. These Sci-Fi masterpieces are in great shape in this set and the sound is very pleasing. The DVDs.

Peanut Butter M&Ms and Reese's Peanut Butter Cups will be my treats of choice. Mmm.

I've been watching some of season 1 of Benson on DVD and it hold up well. I have laughed and laughed. Its a Netflix rental. With all the politics going on lately I thought it perfect to see Benson. From an African American running a Governor's mansion in 1979 to electing an African American President Of The United States for real. That's a big jump to make in my lifetime. Sit back and laugh as a black dude really takes charge of things. Benson: Season 1 DVD.

In a very conservative area some Islamic dude named Akhtar Sadiq is running for a State Senate seat. Hello?! You have an Islamic name! In a white, upper income area of North Fulton County this guy does not stand a chance in Bagdad of winning that seat on November 4th. They just will not vote for him because of the Islamic name. Whenever a voter sees a name like Akhtar Sadiq they think "terrorist" who wants a seat in our government. I'm not hating on Mr. Sadiq or any other Islam believers. I just do not think he stands a chance of winning.

My prediction for "Freaky Sadiqy" will be that the other candidate gets 70% of the vote VS Sadiq getting 30%. It could be worse though. Its not going to be pretty whatever the numbers. LOL.

This bit of news could cause election night to be a long night indeed. My two Cents is that the record crowds should be treated this way. To cut hard working Americans off as they stand in line at 6:45 in the evening is just not fair. I believe that as long as there are people in line they should be able to vote. I will be live blogging election night. Live coverage begins at 5:00 PM. EDT. on November 4th 2008 and does not stop until 9:00 AM November 5th. At least 2 windows and various tabs in Firefox will be open. 2 Electoral .vote count maps will be used to make projections. Secretary Of State web sites will be used to call races.

I will also be posting at the Democratic Underground boards located HERE.

Obama is going after Republican strongholds now. LOL. This is really going to cause the G.O.P. and McCain to shake their heads. The question of what does McCain do with that? Hahahaha. Hopefully Obama keeps the 70+ year old McCain chasing the Republican strongholds into the fall. Exhaust the old guy this late Summer and into the fall. LOL. As W [Duuuubyaaaa] gets ready for his hot hot young daughter's wedding he can do it without having to hear anti war chanting, drums, or those pesky thousands of people that have lost homes to foreclosure, or who have just had jobs taken away by a foreigner.

Remember: more than one million people are being allowed to enter the U.S. thanks to relaxed immigration laws. All this anti Mexican crap is just a smoke screen so that they [the government] can let an Indian, Asian, or African in to steal that high paying job next to you. I don't hate immigrants, but its just that 5 million or so new people that are not like me and want to take jobs from Americans is frightening in even good economic times. In bad times like these it down right makes me sad.

I READ JOE'S HOLLYWOOD ANIMAL AND FOUND IT HORRIBLE. 2 MILLION DOLLARS OR MORE TO WRITE SHOW GIRLS OR BASIC INSTINCT OR THE ALLEN SMITHIE BURN HOLLYWOOD BURN SCRIPT?! OMG!!! THE FRENCH NEW WAVE GUYS COULD HAVE MADE ONE OF THE MASTERWORKS OF THAT ERA FOR THAT [BREATHLESS, THE 400 BLOWS, JULES AND JIM ETC.]. HERE IS A REVIEW WRITTEN BY A JUSTIFIABLY ANGRY SCREENWRITER. HAHAHAHAHA:

I bought this book months ago and just now got around to reading it completely (I was too busy writing screenplays and reading other more interesting books). If you like reading irreverent gossip columns and enjoying a mindless chuckle while whoofing down your morning bowl of Frosted Flakes, then please, go ahead and check this book out at your local library. But I would advise against buying it. The author, crusty ol' Eszterhas, pretends to be an advocate for the screenwriter, but in acuality, despises them (along with 99.9% of humanity). He pawns off advice in his book, not actually expecting you to follow it, then when you do, he becomes sanctimonous and offended. For example, he states in his book that if you're a young screenwriter and not out hounding people, beating on windows `til you get arrested, then you're not doing your job. I did not take his advice literally, but I did venture to Bainbridge Township, Ohio to meet Eszterhas and ask him to look at my script. I met him in the parking lot of his church and politely introduced myself whereupon he called me disgusting! Now imagine my shock when the writer of Showgirls has the nerve to call me disgusting! The man who brags about his many affairs with married women calls me disgusting! Normally I would not tolerate being talked to in this manner but he had his young "grandson" with him.
Eszterhas writes a book, puts the name and location of his church in it, then doesn't expect writers like myself to show up. I find it ironic that a diseased-ridden old man who's lived his bitter booze-filled life treating people like dirt now finds religion, hoping to get into heaven. His life has become a cliché, much like the majority of the scripts he has written.

A TWO GARBO WEEK.

A week ago I watched two Greta Garbo movies from the golden studio era at MGM. Clarence Brown directed Garbo in the U.S. version of Anna Christie. I found it slightly dated but Garbo is the star attraction. Her performance in both the foreign and U.S. versions are great. I found the non American version the better one.

Queen Christina was also good. John Gillbert plays a visitor to her country who sweeps her up into a love affair. Wow! Anna Christie has Garbo in a role as a Queen of her nation who has to decide upon true love and loyalty to her subjects. Will she make the right choice? John Gillbert is wonderful and more than holds his own opposite the great Garbo. His voice sound terrific. Do not be fooled into thinking talkies killed the acting career of Gillbert. It was his own ways that did him in. Drinking and trouble making. Fighting with L.B. Mayer was bad for him at MGM.

All in all it was fantastic Garbo. What a double feature!!!

As anyone that knows me can tell you I am a gamer of sorts. My favorite pc game is Counter Strike Source. I play on a CSS server know as The Whore clan 24/7 office server. Its map is of an office. Hostage rescue is the objective on it. One of the clan's members and a very nice guy has passed away.

His name was "c.IN". The server is shocked and saddened by his death at only 38 years old. :( It was a heart attack from what I was told. :(

I'm reading a rather large diary from a Southern woman during the Civil War. Its around 900 pages and is slow going. The length is one reason but also it has alot of information that might seem trivial to a reader. Yet it has its good parts so far. Time has not really allowed me to read much of it lately. I just pre ordered Bonnie & Clyde and I ordered the book about the 1967 Best Picture Oscar noms. It should get here about 5 days before the movie gets here. That will be nice.

I am also going to read Pauline Kael's famous review of the movie. In it she defended the film because of negative writing on it by other critics. Her review was a 10,000+ word answer that catapulted Bonnie & Clyde to good box office and 10 Oscar nominations.

After years and years of waiting Bonnie & Clyde [1967] is to be released as an Ultimate Collectors Edition on March 25th. There will be docs on the discs but sadly there will be no commentary track. I'm sad to report that my world has darkened quite a bit since my last blog entry. Where do I begin? LOL. I had had car wreck where someone slammed into the back of me. I was not hurt but the car is no more. :( Because of the credit/housing crisis in the U.S. I am now on two expensive payment plans for back taxes. Property taxes and back state taxes. Ouch! Things are grim this Fall and its not expected to get any better until mid 2008.

I'm still trying to wring a fair settlement out of the other driver's insurance company. I'm only asking that all my towing and storage bills are paid and whatever the blue book value of my car was. I am going to pay half of my property tax bill with any of that money. Wish me luck for this fall. Money is going to be tight. :( I think the quote from my August post sure fits my sittuation now. Hahahahaha.

I purchased the Bourne Identity and the Bourne Supremacy on DVD at Best Buy. The orignal rocked and had me on the edge of my seat when I saw it in the theater. The second installment of the Bourne trilogy was good at times but dumb at others. It seems thrown together/film school grad kind of lame in some of it. Slick when it should have been tense and jarring.

I'm getting this set in September. I thought Babes In Arms was wonderful when I first saw it. Since I'm running out of things to buy on dvd I'm not being that choosy this year. I am going to be getting more comedy in 2008 [ Blues Brothers, Animal House, Theres Something About Mary, American Graffiti, and maybe Dazed & Confused + a few more titles].

The Mickey Rooney Robert Osborne TCM show is on the bonus disc. Thats going to be great to watch. Rooney also gives intros to the movies in the set. Nice.

Here is a link to the discussion of it on the HTF. I'm probably going to get the 4 disc set unless the 5 disc set with the famous "work print" does not cost above $50 U.S.

I'm hoping the image and sound are all that we BR fans have hoped for. They certainly will have plenty of versions [3+ a possible work print on the disc 5] to love or hate. Which one is the definitive Blade Runner? We will know in October or maybe September. Let the debate begin.

In anticipation of the release of the movie I'm going to be ordering and reading Future Noir: The Making Of Blade Runner. I will then be ready to for the replicants and replicant hunters.

My week has been pure Hell what with the massive amount of cleaning I'm doing. Dust, mold, cobwebs, and just plain ordinary garden variaty dirt are being dealt with. My bathroom is done and most everything else is in various stages of completion. I was excused from a meeting at work so I could clean so I'd better do a good job. I have something to do for work today though. I'll be done yet exausted when I get home from said event.

Next week will be nice because I will be updating my blog, ordering a book, reading, and playing online pc games. The new ram and speakers have made me want to game game game! That shall be done! Thats a certianty. Right after I clean the house. :( Back to work for me. :(

Yes. I do have some news. I'm not opening my stock trading account untill January of 2007. This gives me plenty of time and money to do other things. Had to buy a new lawn mower because I just can't get the other one to start. I got a good one for $170.

Today I'll be getting up early to get both more ram [512 mb] to bring me to 1 gig and a new 5.1 speaker system. I'm excited about it because I'm going to love playing Operation Flashpoint, Counter Strike Source, Unreal Tournament 2004, and Battlefield 2 with that new setup. My Audigy 2 zs soundcard died on me so I guess I'll just go on board 5.1 audio untill I find the time [and more cash] to upgrade my sound card.

Driving to CompUSA at 10:00 A.M. is not my idea of fun and nore is spending an hour or more before work setting up my new stuff.

I hope my life goes better in the near future. I deserve things to go well for a while! Don't I?

It was a bad week. My eye was swollen shut for 2 days from the pollen outside. My lawn mower refuses to start after just half the yard was cut. I get to work today and all Hell was breaking out. The resturant I work at is not doing well. The bosses boss is not happy with us. Add to all this my car has a poltergist in it I think. Well at least it has trouble starting. Also the book I ordered online has yet to arrive.

The broker I hope to use for stock trading is giving me a hassle over something. Its really irritating. Why me???!!! What have I done to deserve all this?! I wish I knew. I paid off the IRS [who refuses to send me the money they owe me from over paying them last month]. They have sent NOTHING in response to the fact that I paid them!!! Now what?!

Its all so bad right now. I NEED A MIRICLE OF BIBLICAL PROPORTIONS!!! Just as everything was going so well. Am I cursed??? Did I piss God off?!

I ordered Robert Altman's 1975 masterpiece Nashville on DVD. Also Hal Ashby's best [I think] movie Being There [1979]. Peter Sellers is great in this film. My other purchase of course will be on Febuary 28th of the Warners set with my other gift card [the $50 one]. Looks like a 1970s month for me. LOL. Now where did I put that leisure suit and that "Ford in '76" poster??? LOL. Also. this is coming out in late March. Looks to be a good month then also. Just love Busby Berkley's work!

I have had the wierdest and most frustrating Christmas in my whole life. It all started with a trip to StarBucks. Keep in mind that I do not usually drink coffee. It was Christmas eve and I was tired. A little caffene never hurts. My sister needed to get a book at the Barnes & Noble that is attached to said coffee place. I order a "mocha cappachino Grande". Big mistake!!! I was informed about half milk or whpped somthing somthing somthing. She said it in that "I'm so much more hip & Sophisticated than you" kind of way. Whats worse than that you might be wondering? Well what if I were to tell you that the customer next to me agreed and singled me out for riddicule.

Wait it gets even better! My sister [who used to work in a coffee shop] arrives from her book buying adventure. We are waiting for my "MOTHER FUCKING MOCHA CAPPACHINO FUCKING GRANDE" when I have to listen to the rude customer and a guy behind the counter be kissy kissy and flirt with each other [puts finger down throat to throw up]. My sister in law might have a thyroid condition, my stepmom's mother [My step grandmother?! Also big changes are coming and I have to be prepared for them. I hate change and yet it seems to be happening faster lately. It can make one a little parinoid and anxious. I have had about 3 1/2 hours worth of good sleep tonight. I was to be up at 8:30 to cut my lawn, but thats not going to happen. I just can't bring myself to do it. I will clean out my car when I get to work [I have some sort of event at my job]. I will have at least done somthing. The post before this one will explain things also. I want Febuary 25th or so to get here. Can't happen soon enough.

Part of me is back in 2004 trying to get my mind around all the events that occoured in that fateful year for me. Part of me is in the present handling a busy work load, a huge bill, and the holidays all at once. Still a third part of me is in the not so distant future with my tax troubles at an end and with great possabilities ahead. All this is weighing heavily on me right now. My voice is all but gone. Its been replaced with something that sounds like a cross between a Speak & Spell and Jarr Jarr Binks. A less stable mind than mine would have snapped under such a strain. Not me boy!!! I just sound like a $%&#%@# retard!!!! :( I guess its all for the best. I hope. :( Heres to 2006. Let it be at least be a bit better than this lousy rotten year. 2005 sucked! :(

My DSL is now 6.0 and not 3.0 [see earlier post]. I am starting to really notice the speed change. Counter Strike Source is now faster. My ping is now 31 to 35 for the IllSkillz server. Web pages load almost instantly now. I got an email saying that my install kit was on the way. I already have all my stuff from 3.0. Maybe its a mistake part of the email said N/A on it. Maybe N/A means they will not be sending me hardware [modem, install cd, etc] and thus charging me for it. I don't want to go to all the trouble of sending that equipment back.

My service provider is now offering 6.0 meg DSL and I gladly accepted. I currently have 3.0 mps dsl. I started at 1.5 mps. 6 is a giant leap forward in speed so I'm glad I ordered the service. Best part is that it costs just $5 per month more than I pay now [yet I will get double the speed :)]. My install date is set for November 28th. Ahh the information age!

Oh is it Thanksgiving? I hardly noticed. Work kept me so busy at the end to join stepmother for dinner. I'm tired so I did without. Don't feel sad, because I had homemade hamburgers and had wine. Yummy! I've had time to plan out 2006 in some detail and it promises to be my best year yet. So there is plenty to celebrate. It is going to be croweded Friday at my job. Lots of people. I am not looking forward to it. I will let all who read know how it all went. 11 Hours of overtime last week and at least 5 this week. Wow! I can't wait to get my paycheck. LOL. Warner Bros. has done it again! I just read on the Home Theater Forum that Warners is releaseing 2 disc Special Editions of All The President's Men [1976], Dog Day Afternoon [1975], and Network [1976]. They will [I hope] have docs and commentary tracks. Also a few other goodies for we film fans! I am counting the days untill these exellent films arrive.

Thats right I'm doing good. Why because I'm healthy. Heck I'm even alive! Hahaha. Seriously though, someone told me that a fiend of his was killed when his car flipped over. The really sad part was that the victom was just 18 years old. No matter how money challanged or how stressed I get i'm alive and kicking. Thats what counts.

Hold dear those you love and charish because they might be lost just as sudenly as that 18 year old kid still in the prime of life. Enjoy your life because one day you might not be around. Live each day to its fullest without regrets. Take time to [I know it sound lame but trust me on this one thing] smell the roses. Walk in the park, enjoy an ice cream cone, go where you want, and breath in the air of life before its all gone. Enjoy your life.

I was banned from the Home Theater Forum in 2001 for a few comments I made. They have forgiven me and thats nice of them. How nice it is to be back. Since movies and DVD are two of my great passions in life being back on the HTF is great indeed. In January I plan on buying King Kong, the Life Of Emile Zola, The Broadway Melody, and maybe the Rules Of The Game on DVD. Thats when my money problems will be at an end. Lets hope thats the case!!!

The Fair Tax Act. Is it possible?

If you go to the FairTax.org page you will see on the top left side a round button that will take you to the section of video clips dealing with the fair tax question. My only problem with it is that I don't think the "embedded" part of what a business pays will be given back to the public in a price reduction at the retail level. My $20 DVD purchase under the Fair Tax would be between $25 to $30 on that purchase.

Under the Fair tax act that would be a $20 DVD still. Thats because its said that the "embedded" costs due to IRS compliance etc would be taken away by bussinesses. Who is to say that the DVD makers/producers will lower the price of that DVD??? If I could get $25 instead of $20 they will do it and give plenty of excuses. like the "cost" of collecting that sales tax. They will use this Fair Tax as an excuse to take from the American public.

The Fair Tax Act has really no chance in being even passed because of the fear I talked about above. Congress needs the ability to raise revenue in case of an emergency. The CIA might not like the fact that the government would not have control of how much money is coming in. It would be out of the government's hands. Some do not like that and with very good reason. National Security could be a factor behind closed doors. Do you think?

A Better search engine for blogs is Technorrati. It has better result so far. Test both and see what your think.

Robert Wise has died. He edited Citizen Kane [1941], won 4 Oscars, and was given the 1998 A.F.I. Life Achievment Award [the highest honor given for a carreer in film]. He was a master who made The Body Snatcher, Return Of the Cat People, Star Trek The Motion Picture, The Day The Earth Stood Still, The Huanting, The Sound Of Music, and West Side Story. He was also the editor of Orsen Welle's Magnificent Ambersons. Robert Wise has been called the "gentle giant" because he never yelled on the set and was allways easygoing. Wise served as president of both the Director's Guild Of America and the The Academy Of Motion Picture Arts & Sciences. I find his filography a bit of a mixed bag, but Mr. Wise will be missed by all those that love film.

My pc is almost fixed and I'm ready for Fall. My car did not handle the heat over the Summer months. My car which I affectionatlly call the "green machine" is a 1993 Ford Taurus thats [you guessed it] green. I have handled my car with loving care since 1997 when we fisrt got it. 2 wrecks but she is still alive and kicking!

The Ford dealer said my overheating is a water pump, radiator, and the thermostat. They said [LOL] that it would cost $1,500 to fix!!! Hahahaha. The man said somthing to the effect of "it looks like it has been submerged in water". HUH?! WHAT?!! SAY THAT AGAIN?! I wanted to yell the following: Does my vehicle look like a midgit submarine at all?! Do I look like Jacques f*cking Cousteau to you?! Don't touch the oxygen tank and scuba equipment in the trunk! I need them for long trips!!!!

This moron and others cost me half a day. Whatever they did has made my car run better. Thats allways good. I think maybe I had something caught in my cooling system. The Ford rep said somthing about leaves. Maybe they flushed out my system. Lets hope. I'm low on funds and not debt free yet. 2006 is looking very nice from the money perspective. I have $1,700 yet to pay the IRS. My $800 stock write off brings it down to just $800 and at $200 a month untill March I should have no trouble paying them the money.

That lousy rotten lame ass accountant is of course no longer my accountant. I now have one that can accually add, subtract, and my new accountant does not use her fingers to count like my old accountant probably does!!! Hahahaha. Rain Man he's not. Stupid little prick.
