MARY CHESTNUT'S CIVIL WAR.

I'm reading a rather large diary from a Southern woman during the Civil War. Its around 900 pages and is slow going. The length is one reason but also it has alot of information that might seem trivial to a reader. Yet it has its good parts so far. Time has not really allowed me to read much of it lately. I'm hoping that in the next few weeks I'll get to the heart of this massive text. I'll keep my blog readers updated on how the book is. Its cheap on Amazon used books section so get yourself a copy.
